Cook the Ziti
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the ziti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Pour in the marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ziti, marinara sauce, ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, half of the Parmesan cheese, and half of the fresh basil. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Assemble the Ziti
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the ziti mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
