Base Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Base Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until fully combined.

  2. 2

    Add Flavor

Divide the base mixture into separate bowls depending on the number of flavors you want to create. Stir in the chosen flavoring ingredients for each bowl, mixing well.

Chilling

  1. 3

    Chill the Mixture

Cover the bowls with plastic wrap and place them in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to chill.

Churning

  1. 4

    Churn the Ice Cream

Once chilled, pour each flavor mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.

Freezing

  1. 5

    Freeze the Ice Cream

Transfer the churned ice cream into airtight containers and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
