Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and olive oil. Mix until well combined. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.

  5. 5

    Form Cookies

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top of each cookie.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are firm and the centers are slightly soft.

  7. 7

    Cool

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
