Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the onion, slice the jalapeno, yellow and red bell peppers, and mince the garlic. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Peppers and Garlic

Add the sliced jalapeno, yellow and red bell peppers, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the peppers are tender.

  4. 4

    Cook the Lamb

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the cubed lamb to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Brown the lamb on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

  5. 5

    Add Berebere Sauce

Stir in the berebere spice blend and cook for another 5 minutes, ensuring the lamb is well coated and cooked through.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot with injera on the side.
