Method

Latté Preparation

  1. 1

    Brew the Espresso

Brew one shot of espresso using your preferred method (espresso machine, stovetop, etc.).

  2. 2

    Heat the Milk

In a small saucepan or using a steam wand, heat the milk until it is hot but not boiling.

  3. 3

    Froth the Milk (Optional)

If you prefer a frothy texture, use a frother or whisk to create foam in the heated milk.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the brewed espresso into a mug. Slowly add the hot milk, holding back the foam with a spoon if you want to layer it on top.

  5. 5

    Add Sweeteners (Optional)

Stir in sugar if desired, and top with the foam if you created it.

  6. 6

    Garnish (Optional)

Sprinkle cocoa powder or cinnamon on top for added flavor and presentation.
