Focaccia Rolls

Cinnamon Honey Butter

Method

Focaccia Rolls Preparation

1

Activate the Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

2

Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, ground cinnamon, and black pepper. Stir well to combine.

3

Combine Wet Ingredients

Add pumpkin puree, honey, and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Pour in the activated yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms.

4

Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

5

First Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

6

Shape the Rolls

After the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into equal portions (about 12). Shape each portion into a ball and place them on a greased baking sheet.

7

Second Rise

Cover the rolls again and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

8

Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

9

Bake the Rolls

Once the rolls have risen, bake them in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Cinnamon Honey Butter Preparation

10

Prepare the Butter

In a mixing bowl, beat the unsalted butter until creamy. Add honey and ground cinnamon, and mix until well combined.

11

Serve

Transfer the cinnamon honey butter to a serving dish and serve alongside the warm focaccia rolls.
