Steak Marinade and Garnish

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, and brown sugar. Mix until the sugar dissolves. Add the flank steak to the bowl, ensuring it is fully submerged in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

2

Prepare the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat. Make sure the grill grates are clean and oiled to prevent sticking.

3

Grill the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the steak on the hot grill. Grill for about 5-6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

4

Rest and Slice

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice against the grain into thin strips.

5

Garnish and Serve

In a bowl, combine chopped cilantro, sliced red chili, and chopped green onions. Drizzle with sesame oil. Serve the steak topped with the garnish mixture and enjoy!
