Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tofu

Drain the tofu and press it to remove excess moisture. Cut the tofu into cubes or slices, as preferred.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Aromatics

Finely chop the lemongrass, garlic, and red chili peppers. Slice the green onions.

  3. 3

    Cook the Tofu

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Sauté the Aromatics

In the same skillet, add the chopped lemongrass, garlic, and red chili peppers. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  5. 5

    Combine and Season

Return the tofu to the skillet. Add soy sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for another 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  6. 6

    Finish with Green Onions

Sprinkle the sliced green onions over the tofu and gently toss. Remove from heat and serve hot.
