Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tofu

Drain the firm tofu and press it to remove excess water. Cut it into bite-sized cubes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Aromatics

Finely chop the lemongrass, garlic, and red chili. If you prefer less heat, remove the seeds from the chili.

  3. 3

    Cook the Tofu

In a large pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.

  4. 4

    Sauté Aromatics

In the same pan, add the chopped lemongrass, garlic, and red chili. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Return the fried tofu to the pan, add soy sauce, sugar, and salt. Stir to combine and cook for another 3-4 minutes until heated through.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and serve hot with rice.
