Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Fish
Rinse the white fish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
- 2
Prepare the Coating
In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Mix well.
- 3
Coat the Fish
Dredge each fish fillet in the flour and cornstarch mixture, ensuring they are fully coated. Shake off any excess flour.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.
- 5
Fry the Fish
Carefully add the coated fish fillets to the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Prepare the Mango
While the fish is frying, peel and thinly slice the green mango. Arrange the slices on a plate.
- 7
Serve
Serve the pan-fried fish hot with the sliced green mango on the side.
