Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prep the Ingredients

Gather all your ingredients and prepare any optional ingredients if using. If you plan to add cheese, herbs, tomato, or spinach, chop or dice them as needed.

Cooking the Eggs

  1. 2

    Heat the Pan

Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter. Allow it to melt completely, coating the bottom of the pan.

  2. 3

    Crack the Eggs

Carefully crack the eggs into the skillet. If you want them sunny-side up, do not flip them. For scrambled eggs, stir gently.

  3. 4

    Season the Eggs

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the eggs. Adjust quantity according to your taste.

  4. 5

    Cook to Desired Doneness

For sunny-side up, cook for about 3-4 minutes until the whites are set. For over-easy, gently flip the eggs and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. For scrambled, cook until the eggs are set to your preference.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve the Eggs

Once the eggs are cooked to your liking, transfer them to a plate. If using optional ingredients, sprinkle cheese, herbs, diced tomatoes, or fresh spinach over the top before serving.
