Pancake Batter

Method

Prepare Pancake Batter

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and salt until well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.

Cook Pancakes

  1. 4

    Preheat Pan

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with cooking spray or a small amount of butter.

  2. 5

    Pour Batter

Using a measuring cup, pour about 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto the skillet for each pancake.

  3. 6

    Add Toppings Early

Immediately sprinkle mini marshmallows and chocolate chips on top of each pancake before flipping.

  4. 7

    Flip Pancakes

Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Carefully flip each pancake and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

Serve

  1. 8

    Plate Pancakes

Stack the cooked pancakes on a plate.

  2. 9

    Add S'mores Toppings

Drizzle chocolate syrup over pancakes and top with crushed graham crackers. Add more mini marshmallows and chocolate chips as desired.

  3. 10

    Enjoy!

Serve hot and enjoy your delicious S'mores Pancakes!
