Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a small bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, fresh rosemary, and lemon juice to create the marinade.

  2. 2

    Apply Marinade

Rub the marinade all over the T-Bone steak, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your charcoal or gas grill to high heat, about 450°F (232°C). If using charcoal, ensure the coals are ashed over and glowing.

  2. 4

    Grill the Steak

Remove the steak from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off. Place the steak on the grill and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust time to your preferred doneness.

  3. 5

    Check Temperature

Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness. Aim for an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare.

  4. 6

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your desired doneness, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  5. 7

    Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
