Method
Preparation of Chicken Wings
- 1
Clean and Dry the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 3
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd. Fry for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- 4
Drain the Wings
Using a slotted spoon, remove the wings from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Buffalo Sauce Preparation
- 5
Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over low heat, add the stick of unsalted butter and allow it to melt completely.
- 6
Coating and Serving
- 7
Coat the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken wings with the buffalo sauce until they are evenly coated.
- 8
Serve
Arrange the coated wings on a serving platter with celery sticks and a side of blue cheese dressing for dipping.
