Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Chop the bacon, ham, and tomato into small pieces. Grate the cheddar cheese.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon and Ham

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy, about 5 minutes. Add the chopped ham and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  3. 3

    Whisk the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the 3 eggs and whisk them until well blended. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4

    Cook the Omelette

Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the bacon and ham. Cook until the edges start to set, about 2 minutes. Gently lift the edges with a spatula and allow uncooked eggs to flow underneath.

  5. 5

    Add Cheese and Tomato

Once the omelette is mostly set, sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese and chopped tomato on one half of the omelette. Fold the other half over the filling.

  6. 6

    Finish Cooking

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the omelette is cooked through.

  7. 7

    Serve

Carefully slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot with cheese grits or fried potatoes and your choice of toast or a biscuit.
