Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Broccoli Rabe
Rinse the broccoli rabe under cold water and trim off the ends of the stems. If the stalks are thick, you can slice them in half lengthwise.
- 2
Cook the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn it.
- 3
Sauté the Broccoli Rabe
Add the broccoli rabe to the skillet, along with the red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Toss to combine and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the broccoli rabe is tender but still vibrant green.
- 4
Add Lemon Juice
Remove the skillet from the heat and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to combine and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- 5
Serve
Transfer the broccoli rabe to a serving dish and enjoy warm as a side dish.
