Prepare the clams
Rinse the clams under cold water to remove any sand or grit. Soak them in salty water for about 30 minutes to help purge any remaining sand.

Cook the sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add wine and clams
Pour in the white wine and bring it to a simmer. Add the clams to the skillet, cover, and cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the clams have opened.

Finish the sauce
Stir in the chopped parsley and green chili. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

Serve
Serve the clams in the green sauce immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
