Prepare Chicken Tenders

Slice the Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips about 1 inch wide.

Prepare Dredging Stations
Set up three bowls: one with flour seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika; another with beaten eggs; and the last with breadcrumbs.
Fry Chicken Tenders

Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Dredge Chicken
Dip each chicken strip first in the seasoned flour, then in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

Fry Tenders
Carefully place the breaded chicken strips in the hot oil, frying them in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a thermometer to ensure they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

Drain
Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Mix Ingredients
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Cook the sauce for about 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
Serve

Plate Tenders
Serve the crispy chicken tenders hot with the BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
