Chop Tomatoes
Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Chop Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves finely and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Prepare Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl.

Season the Mixture
Add salt and pepper to the tomato mixture, and gently mix everything together until well combined. Set aside.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice Baguette
Cut the baguette into 1-inch thick slices.

Brush with Olive Oil
Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil.

Toast the slices in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown.

Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let cool slightly. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture generously on top of each slice.
