Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Paneer and Peppers

Cut the paneer and bell peppers into cubes. Add them to the marinade and ensure they are well coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

  3. 3

    Soak the Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.

  4. 4

    Skewer the Ingredients

Thread the marinated paneer and bell pepper cubes onto the skewers, alternating between the two.

  5. 5

    Cook the Paneer Tikka

Preheat a grill or oven to 200°C (392°F). Brush the skewers with oil and place them on the grill. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the paneer is golden and slightly charred.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the skewers from the grill and serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
