Crab Balls Ingredients
Method
Preparation Instructions
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.
- 2
Form the Balls
Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a baking sheet.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
- 4
Fry the Crab Balls
Carefully add the crab balls to the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary to avoid crowding. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 5
Drain and Serve
Remove the crab balls from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
