Buffalo Fried Cauliflower
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add cold water until you get a smooth batter.
- 3
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot (around 350°F or 175°C).
- 5
Fry the Cauliflower
Fry the coated cauliflower florets in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Toss in Buffalo Sauce
Transfer the fried cauliflower to a large bowl, and pour buffalo sauce over them. Toss gently to coat.
- 7
Serve
Serve the buffalo fried cauliflower with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
