Prepare the Wings
In a large bowl, combine chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Toss until the wings are evenly coated. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Fry the Wings
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the marinated wings in batches and fry for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the hot sauce, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Coat the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the fried wings in the hot sauce mixture until they are well coated.
Serve
Serve the wings hot, garnished with celery sticks and your choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing.
