Prepare Noodles

  1. 1

    Cook Chow Mein Noodles

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the chow mein noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 4-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Prepare Vegetables

  1. 2

    Chop Vegetables

While the noodles are cooking, wash and chop the carrot, bell pepper, broccoli, snow peas, and green onion into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

Make Sauce

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, cornstarch, and water until smooth. Set aside.

Stir-Fry Ingredients

  1. 4

    Stir-Fry Vegetables

Heat a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of oil (optional) and stir-fry the chopped vegetables for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

  2. 5

    Add Noodles and Sauce

Add the cooked chow mein noodles to the pan with the vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and vegetables. Toss everything together to coat evenly, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
