Frosty Fries Ingredients

Method

Frosty Fries Directions

1

Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

2

Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

3

Heat the Oil

In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

4

Fry the Potatoes

Remove the fries from the water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Carefully add them to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

5

Season the Fries

Once fried, place the fries on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. While still hot, season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and chili powder.

6

Serve with Toppings

Top the fries with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh parsley. Serve with a side of sour cream for dipping.
