Cooking Instructions

1. Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the pork ribs. Rinse and pat them dry with paper towels.

2. Make the Rub

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

3. Season the Ribs

Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Wrap the ribs tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 24 hours or up to 36 hours.

4. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 225°F (107°C).

5. Prepare for Cooking

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Pour apple cider vinegar over the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

6. Slow Cook the Ribs

Cover the ribs tightly with aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 6 hours.

7. Glaze the Ribs

Remove the foil and brush barbecue sauce generously over the ribs. Return to the oven, uncovered, and cook for an additional 1 hour.

8. Rest and Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
