Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions. Flatten two portions into discs and place 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese in the center of each. Top with the other two discs and seal the edges tightly to form stuffed patties.

  3. 3

    Grill the Patties

Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) and the cheese is melted inside.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes. Place a juicy Lucy patty on each bun, top with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard as desired.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your homemade Juicy Lucy!
