Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Rinse the boneless chicken breasts under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate bowls, set up your breading station: one with flour mixed with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder; one with beaten eggs and milk; and one with bread crumbs.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip into the egg mixture, then coat with bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the breaded chicken breasts to the skillet. Fry for 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the chicken from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your choice of two sides.
