Method
Preparation
- 1
Select Quality Bacon
Choose high-quality bacon from your preferred brand. Look for thick-cut bacon for a better texture and flavor.
- 2
Prepare Cooking Equipment
Gather your cooking equipment, such as a frying pan, baking sheet, or air fryer, depending on your cooking method.
Cooking
- 3
Cooking in a Frying Pan
Place the frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, add the bacon pieces in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- 4
Cook the Bacon
Cook the bacon for about 5 to 7 minutes on one side, or until it reaches your desired crispiness. Flip the bacon and cook for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
- 5
Drain the Bacon
Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease. This will help keep the bacon crispy.
- 6
Cooking in the Oven (Optional)
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the bacon in a single layer. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until crispy.
- 7
Cooking in an Air Fryer (Optional)
Place the bacon in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, checking halfway through.
Serving
- 8
Serve the Bacon
Once drained, serve the bacon immediately while hot. It can be enjoyed as a breakfast item, in sandwiches, or as a topping for salads.
