Method
Pancakes
Prepare the Pancake Batter
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Cook the Pancakes
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until golden brown, another 1-2 minutes. Repeat for the second pancake.
Eggs
Cook the Eggs
In a small skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Crack the two eggs into the skillet and cook to your preference (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Bacon and Sausage
Cook the Bacon and Sausage
In a large skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels. In the same skillet, add the sausage links and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Make sure to turn them occasionally.
