For the Banana Napoleon

Method

Preparation Instructions

1

Prepare the Puff Pastry

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a floured surface to a thickness of approximately 1/8 inch. Cut into rectangles (about 3x5 inches). Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.

2

Make the Whipped Cream

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Set aside.

3

Prepare the Bananas

Peel and slice the bananas into thin rounds.

4

Assemble the Napoleon

On a serving plate, layer a piece of puff pastry, followed by a layer of whipped cream, then banana slices, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Repeat the layers, finishing with a puff pastry on top.

5

Garnish and Serve

Drizzle with shaved dark chocolate and garnish with mint leaves. Serve immediately.
