Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Make the Rub
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Season the Ribs
Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

Wrap and Cook
Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours or until the ribs are tender.

Glaze the Ribs
Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush barbecue sauce over the ribs.

Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, then slice between the bones and serve with your choice of side and tossed salad.
