Method

Preparation of Mushrooms

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set them aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Mushroom Caps

Place the mushroom caps on a baking sheet, stem side up, and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Making the Stuffing

  1. 4

    Mix the Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and form a creamy stuffing.

  2. 5

    Fill the Mushrooms

Using a spoon, generously fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure they are well packed.

Baking

  1. 6

    Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the stuffed mushrooms for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden.

  2. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
