Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Mix Crust Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix well until the crumbs are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even layer.

  4. 4

    Bake the Crust

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool.

Filling Preparation

  1. 5

    Blend Cream Cheese

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

  2. 6

    Add Sugar and Sour Cream

Add the granulated sugar and sour cream to the cream cheese. Mix until well combined.

  3. 7

    Incorporate Vanilla and Eggs

Add the vanilla extract and mix. Then, add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

  4. 8

    Add Flour

Finally, add the all-purpose flour and mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing.

Baking the Cheesecake

  1. 9

    Pour Filling into Crust

Pour the cheesecake filling into the cooled graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.

  2. 10

    Bake the Cheesecake

Bake in the oven for 50-60 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.

  3. 11

    Cool the Cheesecake

Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour to cool gradually.

  4. 12

    Chill in the Refrigerator

Remove the cheesecake from the oven and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, before serving.
