Method

Preparation

1

Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures that the fish cooks evenly and the crust gets crispy.

2

Prepare the Mahi Mahi

Rinse the Mahi Mahi fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

3

Make the Crust Mixture

In a medium bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, dried oregano, paprika, and chopped parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Cooking

4

Coat the Mahi Mahi

In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned Mahi Mahi fillets. Sear them for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

5

Add the Crust

After searing, sprinkle the crust mixture generously over the top of each fillet, pressing down lightly to adhere.

6

Bake the Fish

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

7

Plate the Dish

Once cooked, remove the skillet from the oven. Serve the Parmesan-crusted Mahi Mahi fillets hot, garnished with lemon wedges on the side.
