Prepare the Meat Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.

Season the Meat
Stir in tomato sauce, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture
In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Mix until smooth.

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Layer the Lasagna
In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom. Place 4 lasagna noodles over the sauce. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles, followed by a layer of meat sauce, and then a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles and meat sauce on top.

Add Final Toppings
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top layer.

Cool and Serve
Let the lasagna cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
