Preparing the Ribs

Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to a temperature of 225°F (107°C).

Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs using a paper towel for grip. Rinse and pat dry.

Season the Ribs
Rub olive oil evenly over the ribs. In a bowl, mix salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar. Rub this mixture onto the ribs, ensuring full coverage.
Smoking the Ribs

Place Ribs in Smoker
Place the seasoned ribs on the smoker grates bone-side down. Close the lid.

Smoke the Ribs
Smoke the ribs for about 4-5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 190°F (88°C) for tender meat.

Apply Barbecue Sauce
During the last 30 minutes of smoking, brush the ribs with your favorite barbecue sauce.

Slice and Serve
Once the ribs are done, remove them from the smoker, slice between the bones, and serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side. Enjoy with your chosen sides!
