Method

Pulled Pork Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with the pork rub thoroughly, ensuring all sides are coated.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork

Place the rubbed pork shoulder in a smoker or slow cooker. Add apple cider vinegar and water to the cooking vessel. If using a smoker, cook at 225°F for about 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shreds. If using a slow cooker, cook on low for 8 hours.

  3. 3

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the heat and let it rest for 30 minutes. Shred the pork using two forks, mixing in BBQ sauce as desired for moisture and flavor.

Slider Assembly

  1. 4

    Assemble the Sliders

Slice slider buns in half and layer with a generous portion of pulled pork on the bottom half of each bun.

  2. 5

    Top with Coleslaw and Pickles

Add a spoonful of coleslaw on top of the pulled pork, followed by a few pickle slices.

  3. 6

    Serve

Place the top half of the slider bun on top, securing the fillings. Serve immediately with your choice of side.
