Fried Zucchini
Garlic Parmesan Sauce
Method
Fried Zucchini
- 1
Prepare the Zucchini
Wash and dry the zucchinis. Cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Zucchini
Take each zucchini strip, first coat it in the flour mixture, then dip it into the egg mixture, and finally coat it in the breadcrumbs. Make sure each piece is well-coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large, deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test if the oil is ready by dropping a small piece of bread in; it should sizzle and turn golden brown.
- 5
Fry the Zucchini
Carefully add the breaded zucchini strips in batches to the hot oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried zucchini from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- 7
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and dried parsley.
- 8
Season the Sauce
Add salt and black pepper to the sauce according to your taste. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined and the sauce is smooth.
- 9
Serve
Serve the garlic parmesan sauce alongside the fried zucchini for dipping.
