Method
Preparation
- 1
Select the Board
Choose a large wooden or slate board to serve your charcuterie. The size will depend on the number of servings.
- 2
Arrange the Meats
Start by arranging the cured meats (salami, prosciutto, chorizo) on one side of the board. You can fold or roll the slices for a more appealing presentation.
- 3
Add the Cheeses
Place the cheeses (Brie, Cheddar, Gorgonzola) next to the meats. Cut some of the cheeses into wedges or cubes for easy serving.
- 4
Incorporate Accompaniments
Fill in the spaces with the accompaniments. Place olives and mixed nuts in small bowls or scattered on the board. Drizzle honey over the Brie and add fig jam in a small dish.
- 5
Add Breadsticks and Berries
Arrange the breadsticks in a jar or in a standing position on the board. Scatter fresh berries around the board for color and freshness.
- 6
Final Touches
Check for balance and color. Add more nuts or fruits if necessary. Serve with small plates and napkins.
