Pasta

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 2

    Chop the Vegetables

While the pasta is cooking, wash and chop the bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, and asparagus into bite-sized pieces.

Making the Sauce

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, add the chopped vegetables and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until they are tender but still crisp.

  2. 4

    Season the Vegetables

Season the sautéed vegetables with salt and black pepper. Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.

Combining the Dish

  1. 5

    Mix Everything Together

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the vegetables. Toss everything together to combine. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil, mixing until the cheese melts and coats the pasta and vegetables evenly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Serve the Pasta Primavera hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
