Ingredients for Gamberi Fra Diavolo

Method

Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Marinara Sauce

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in crushed tomatoes, red pepper flakes, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

2

Cook the Linguini

While the sauce simmers, cook the linguini according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

3

Grill the Shrimp

In a separate grill pan, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Grill the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque.

4

Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked linguini in the marinara sauce until fully coated. Serve the linguini topped with grilled shrimp and garnish with chopped fresh basil and lemon wedges.
