Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Meat Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain excess grease.

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Combine Spaghetti and Sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked spaghetti with the meat sauce. Mix well to coat the spaghetti.

Assemble the Bake
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread half of the spaghetti mixture in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Layer half of the mozzarella cheese on top. Add the remaining spaghetti mixture and top with the remaining mozzarella slices and Parmesan cheese.

Serve
Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy with garlic bread and salad!
