Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form it into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip it and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place the cheddar cheese slice on top of the patty and cover until melted.

  4. 4

    Toast the Bun

While the patty is cooking, toast the kaiser bun halves on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of the toasted bun, place the lettuce, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve immediately with your favorite side.
