Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the top sirloin steak out of the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. This helps in even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Rub the steak with olive oil, then sprinkle garlic powder, salt, and black pepper on both sides of the steak. Let it sit for another 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat a grill or a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. If using a skillet, you may add a little more olive oil.

  4. 4

    Cook the Steak

Place the steak on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a nice crust forms. Flip the steak and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, depending on thickness.

  5. 5

    Add Flavor

In the last minute of cooking, add a sprig of fresh rosemary on top of the steak for added flavor.

  6. 6

    Rest and Serve

Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute. Serve and enjoy!
