Shrimp Jammers Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a bowl, season the shrimp with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Stuff the Shrimp

Take a shrimp and place a piece of Monterey Jack cheese inside its curve. Press the shrimp around the cheese to enclose it completely. Repeat with the remaining shrimp.

  3. 3

    Set Up Breading Station

Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

  4. 4

    Bread the Shrimp

Dip each stuffed shrimp in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Ensure they are well-coated.

  5. 5

    Heat Oil

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  6. 6

    Fry the Shrimp

Carefully place the breaded shrimp in the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  7. 7

    Serve

Serve hot as an appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce.
