Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and leave them whole. Mince the garlic and chop the fresh thyme.

  2. 2

    Heat the Butter

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to foam.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

  4. 4

    Cook the Mushrooms

Add the whole mushrooms to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown.

  5. 5

    Add Wine and Herbs

Pour in the white wine and add the fresh thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, allowing the wine to reduce slightly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve warm as a side dish or over pasta, rice, or toast.
