Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Jalapenos

Preheat your deep fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cut the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes for less heat.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Spoon the mixture into each jalapeno half.

  3. 3

    Bread the Jalapenos

Set up a breading station: place the flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs in separate shallow dishes. First, dip each stuffed jalapeno in flour, then in the egg, and finally coat it with bread crumbs.

  4. 4

    Deep Fry

Carefully place the breaded jalapeno poppers in the hot oil. Fry them for about 3-4 minutes or until they are golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the jalapeno poppers warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
