Prepare the Filet Mignon
Season the filet mignon steaks generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Wrap each steak with two strips of bacon, securing them with toothpicks if necessary.

Sear the Steaks
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the bacon-wrapped steaks to the skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.

Finish Cooking
For medium-rare, remove steaks when they reach an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C). Allow them to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
