Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Mix the Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti noodles with your choice of marinara or meat sauce. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the spaghetti mixture into a greased baking dish.

  4. 4

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the spaghetti mixture.

  5. 5

    Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Prepare Meatballs (if desired)

While the spaghetti is baking, you can prepare the hand-rolled meatballs. Roll ground meat into balls and cook them in a skillet until browned and cooked through. Add them on top of the baked spaghetti before serving.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, and serve hot. Enjoy your baked spaghetti!
